Open Days
We’re open 6 days a week, so you don’t need to wait for an open day.
But our open days add an extra dose of fun, and are a great excuse for repeat visits! We often combine with local food producers, craftsmen and charities to stage special open day events, which we will publicise on our website.
2010 Cookery Demonstrations
We also have cookery demonstrations through the year to inspire you with confidence in your kitchen, often with celebrity chefs. These cover everything from basic range cooking skills to preparing a Christmas feast!
We had a Christmas Demonstration on 14th December which was a great success. David cooked a complete Christmas dinner plus some lovely new christmas fayre, which was enjoyed by all!
Junior Cookalong 2010 - Our chef, Sue Hosegood and 16 children had a great day on 8th April - using local produce, they cooked some lovely food including vegetable soup, easter cakes and pizzas. What a great lunch they had after!
Mrs S Smale said "I was really impressed with the event - the kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves, it was really well organised and Sue was incredibly patient and very encouraging. A massive thank you, please can you book us all in for next year...!!"
