The Villager B Multifuel kit is a retro fitting optional extra. Designed to sit inside suitable Villager woodburning models, it allows the burning of approved smokeless coal.
Contents: 1 x Grate (Dimensions approx 460mm (18″) wide x 240mm (9.5″) deep). 1 x Ashpan and 2 x support legs.

How to fit a Villager B Multifuel Kit
- Ensure stove is suitably cooled.
- Remove log guard and clean fire bed
- Insert support legs, left and right.
- Fit grate ensuring the support legs slot into the grooves of the grate.
- When fitted correctly, the curved part of the grate should face the front and the lugs pointing upwards.
- Slide the ashpan underneath.
- You can refit the log guard if you choose, but it is not generally required for coal.
- If you have the latest steel version of the log guard it will not generally fit in conjunction with the Villager B Multifuel grate.
- Please note, in some cases the layout of the fire bricks may need amending to ensure a good fit.
