Despite the rise of the Woodburner and modern Stove, many people still like the feel and ambiance of Open Fires. Open Fires generally consist of a Grate, Fire Front and Ashpan. Here at Rangemoors we still supply both trade and retail customers with a selection of grates and fires to suit most firebacks and situations. We can also supply firebacks (aka chair bricks) and large dog grates / swans nests – complete with cast iron firebacks. Prices on application.

When ordering spares for an Open Fire, please carefully check dimensions of the product. For example a 16″ grate is so called as it fits a 16″ fireback. In reality a 16″ grate will often measure nearer 14 or 15″ within the opening.
